My grandchildren are being restricted from seeing me. What can I do?

Mississippi law does provide for grandparent visitation in two circumstances, upon the petition for the grandparent(s);
1) when a parent dies, loses custody, or loses parental rights, and there is a finding that visitation is in the best interest of the child; or
2) the grandparent(s) can show:
a. they had a viable relationship with the child;
b. the parent has unreasonably denied visitation; and
c. visitation is in the best interests of the child.
